I assure you, even if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. (Matthew 17:20, NLT)
My daughter asked if she could attend the after school program her school provides but I told her we could not afford it. Without hesitation, she said, "I know how you can pay for my after school program." "How, I asked?" "By publishing your book." "When you publish your book, you'll have lots of money!"
My daughter may be small in size but she produced a great amount of faith that day. Faith enough to believe my book would be successful. She's like that mustard seed that Jesus talked about in Matthew 17:20, for although it is also very small in size, once planted it produces great results. Although only two millimeters in diameter, once sown, it grows into a huge and powerful tree.
Many times we think we need a lot of faith to produce great results. But Jesus reminds us that it only takes a small amount of faith to do great things for the kingdom. Just like my daughter had enough faith to believe my book would be successful, God wants us to have enough faith to believe nothing is impossible with Him.
