Jeaninne Stokes was born in West Point, New York but moved to Dallas, Texas at an early age. She completed her high school education within the Dallas Independent School District. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of North Texas and Texas Christian University, where she received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Education, respectively.
For the past seventeen years, she has worked in higher education where she has served in a number of capacities. In February 2002, she answered God's call on her life to pursue a full-time writing and ministry and set aside her career in higher education to pursue her calling. Since that time, her writings have been published in Cross and Quill, The Christian Communicator, Harmony on the Go and Christian Woman Today Online.
Jeaninne resides in Arlington, Texas, has been married for nineteen years and is the proud parent of two children. She has been a member of Concord Church in Dallas, Texas for over thirty years where she has taught Sunday School, been a coordinator for the singles ministry, and assisted with the orientation of new members. Presently, she and her husband lead a bible study group for married couples in the Arlington area.
Living by Faith, a collection of inspirational poetry, is her first book.
